Spencer's perfect day

In my quest for outings while Michael was out of town for four days, we came up with a doozy. Things started out well and then only got better. First we went to Poppy's house. (Spencer asks me everyday if we can go to Poppy's house.) THEN we got to go visit Uncle Jim at work at the fire station. Jim is an EMT and drives the ambulence. So we got a grand tour of both the ambulence AND the "big, huge" firetruck! We even got to see the fireman's boots, coat and hat! Needless to say Spencer was in heaven, but the rest of us thought it was pretty cool too! Posted by Picasa

More vehicles!

After our firestation adventure, Poppy took Spencer to climb on the vacated construction equipment near their house. The already exciting day grew even more unbelieveable! Posted by Picasa

Messy Baby Emma

Emma really wanted to "blob" a picture of just her. So she picked this one of when she was one.
Emma: "I was getting messy. I liked to get messy when I was little. I also liked corn." Posted by Picasa

A trip to Squaw Peak

Between sessions of Conference on Sunday we went for an autumn drive up to Squaw Peak. It was a gorgeous day! The week before this place was covered with snow. This is Mount Timpanogos in the background. Posted by Picasa

Our recessive gene baby.

Catherine actually took this one - it's my favorite. His hair has sprouted in the past month and he is definitely blonde! Posted by Picasa

He found his feet!

See any resemblances? Well, besides the hair and eye color? Posted by Picasa
