The Puppy
Spencer LOVES his Halloween costume. It was one of Timmy and/or Matthew's old costumes. He's never actually seen 101 Dalmations, so we just told him he was a puppy. Later as we were getting ready to go to the Sorensons, he was walking around saying, "I a firehouse dog, Spot." He came up with the elaboration on his own. :)
Heading out for some Trick-or-Treating
Catherine wasn't too excited about trick-or-treating this year, but we encouraged her to go to a few of our neighbors, then come back and hand out candy. The other kids loved it - particularly the puppy. David stayed home with Mom, but Aunt Lynn accompanied the rest.

Spencer's perfect day
In my quest for outings while Michael was out of town for four days, we came up with a doozy. Things started out well and then only got better. First we went to Poppy's house. (Spencer asks me everyday if we can go to Poppy's house.) THEN we got to go visit Uncle Jim at work at the fire station. Jim is an EMT and drives the ambulence. So we got a grand tour of both the ambulence AND the "big, huge" firetruck! We even got to see the fireman's boots, coat and hat! Needless to say Spencer was in heaven, but the rest of us thought it was pretty cool too!
More vehicles!
After our firestation adventure, Poppy took Spencer to climb on the vacated construction equipment near their house. The already exciting day grew even more unbelieveable!
