Catherine's Baptism Day
This was a special day for our family. Saturday, February 3, Catherine was baptized by her Dad at our local chapel. They both dressed in white for the service. (I bought her a new white dress for the occasion, but she wore this jumpsuit for the actual baptism since she was immersed completely in the water.) After the baptism itself, I helped her change back into her white dress and we returned to the room where our family, and some church friends were waiting. It was a cool February day, but sunny and clear and so special! Catherine looked like a little Italian angel. :)

Afterwards we took pictures of Cath with the different family members so that we could put them in her book a long with the letters you wrote her. (For those of you who couldn't make it, we'll take your picture with her next time we're together.)

After the service we had everyone for lunch at our house. It was so much FUN! Mainly because we like our relatives so much. Plus, it also reminded me of Catherine's blessing day in that I was just so happy - the spirit was strong, but peaceful and I'm just so grateful that this special girl is mine!
