24th of July celebration

In Utah, our state commemoration is celebrated on July 24th - since that is the day the first pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley. It's also a great reason to light more fireworks in July. Following a BBQ, we usually we have "Poppy's fireworks" but this year Michael took on that weighty responsibility. We all enjoyed the impressive display and then the kids ran around with sparklers. Posted by Picasa
