Father's Day

We were extra happy to celebrate Father's Day with our Dad because he had been gone for whole week and we were SOOOOooo happy to have him home! We made him a fancy breakfast that included sausages and cinnamon rolls. Besides the new shirt and tie, the kids had all made cards with pictures and lists of their favorite things to do with Dad, which included fun outings, going to breakfast, going camping and making pizza every week.

Catherine helped Spencer make these special saw cards for Michael and Sp was really proud of them. The weeks before Father's Day, Spencer had been saying, "Mom, I want to get Dad a girl for Father's Day." At first I wondered what in the world he meant. Then I figured out that Spencer wanted to get Michael a new GRILL. This totally cracked me up because Sp calls Catherine and Emma, "The grills."
