We've had one heat wave so far this summer. And it lasted one weekend. Fortunately we took advantage and headed up Provo Canyon for a cookout at South Fork park. We have a great spot there and after our delicious hot dogs and cantalope and chips the kids had a blast playing in the river. The water was somewhat higher than last year - no surprise after all the snow we had this winter - but it was still shallow enough in some parts to wade in.
